Ten years strong! ? We show that giving back is in our DNA. For a decade, Zalandos have proven that giving back isn’t just something we do – it’s truly part of who we are. To celebrate this milestone, we dedicated a whole week to volunteering. Together with our partner vostel volunteering we offered our employees hundreds of impactful opportunities across Berlin. From cleaning the Spree riverbank near our HQ to supporting a climbing festival for girls, or preparing care kits for homeless individuals, the week reflected the incredible diversity, passion and commitment of our teams. One of the week’s big highlights? Definitely our partnership with Berliner Tafel e.V. We packed over 6,100 school cones - backpacks filled with books, stationery, small gifts, and treats. The Schultüte, or "school cone", is a decorated cardboard cone of gifts traditionally given to German children on their first day of 1st grade. This hands-on effort will give children from low-income families the confidence and excitement they deserve on their first day of school. Not only did Zalando provide financial support and over 140 volunteers to help pack these bags, but we also donated the backpacks ourselves. ?? In just 5 days Zalandos volunteered nearly 1,000 hours? and helped support almost 7,000 people in Berlin! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this volunteering celebration week so special. For Pride, we've brought the vibrant spirit of our "Mother Tongue" campaign to life at Zalando, painting a powerful picture with words that mean the world to our LGBTQIA+ community. Each word on this whiteboard was chosen by an employee, representing a term that connects them to their identity, their culture, and their chosen family. It’s a reminder that language is more than just communication, it's a celebration of heritage, humour, and belonging. We're so proud to amplify these voices and share the personal significance behind these expressions. Zalando delivers strong Q2: growth, profit & AI innovation. Yesterday we published our Q2 results - delivering solid growth and a rise in profit. We maintained momentum, increased profits, and continued executing our strategy to build Europe’s leading fashion and lifestyle e-commerce ecosystem. Our B2C business saw a strong increase in active customers, with further engagement expected from the upcoming launch of our AI-powered Discovery Feed. At the same time, our B2B segment continued to grow, strengthening our platform model.
