    Summer holidays look different for me now. They used to be: - hiking volcanoes in Hawaii - bike riding through Portugal - cocktails on the beach in Egypt Now they look like: - a day off here and there - train to the grandparents - a play pool in the backyard (and maybe a dinner out when Hugo's sleeping and the grandparents are there ??) The thing about life is there are always phases. And the phase I am in now requires: - building my business - nurturing my son - self care Right now there are no real "days off". And that's okay.     "A 1x engineer with AI is a 0.1x engineer but a 10x engineer with AI is 100x engineer." A statement I read over the weekend on Linkedin. And it got me thinking. What is the biggest difference between being .1x and 100x in HR? Here's what I think: 1/ ?????????????? ???????????????? > ???????? ?????????????????? AI handles the manual work. The edge will be thinking across systems, not within silos. HR who understand how everything connects are the ones who will make big impact, not just the ones doing their job faster. 2/ ?????????????????????????? ?????????????????????? The better someone is at explaining their thinking in clear, structured language, the more powerful they become with AI tools. And it also applies to human-to-human comms. If we can’t communicate well, someone else will. 3/ ?????????????????? ???????????????? > ?????????????? AI will reward patience and strong architecture. People who slow down to think holistically before asking AI for output will get exponentially better results. It’s no longer about who starts first. It’s about who designs their operating model best. 4/ ?????????????? We will get real leverage from understanding the business and workflows deeply. When HR knows what matters and how to ask AI the right questions, value will compound. 5/ ???????? ?????????????????? ??????????????????????. ?????????????? ???????????????????????? ??????????????????????. AI will level the playing field on “how-to.” What will stand out now is who can think in systems and navigate complexity, then execute. 6/ ???????????? ???? ?????????? ?????????? ???? ???? ?????????? Sure AI will take over a lot, but it won’t take over implementing change. So the better HR are at delivering change and getting people onboard, the more valuable they become. And of course this isn’t everything. But if you can nail these you’re closer to 100x than 0.1x IMO. I might also add…MINDSET ?? If you don't have the right mindset you won’t get very far. Now it’s your turn. What did I miss to be 100x in HR?

    When is the right time to get help? I've been thinking about this a lot. Being a solopreneur I've been trying to "do it all". ?? Be a good mum. ?? Build Stakkd. ?? Manage over 85 clients (wow!). ?? Support the HR community. ?? Continue to deliver valuable content This list goes on. And so far I've "managed". But the past 3-4 months I've been chasing my tail. DOING MY BEST to stay afloat. So I decided now was the time. The time to get some help. So we can take Stakkd to the next level. (or at least not burn me out ??) So yesterday Alexander Rand joined the team as Founders Associate. ?? And in his first 3 hours he's already added so much value (thank you!!) Honestly wish I did this a few months sooner. _______________ Was this decision really hard to make? Absolutely. Because I am investing into this role, even before paying myself. But right now I AM the bottleneck to growth. ?? So it makes 1000% sense. LFG ?     can we stop arguing whether HR brings value to a company or not? clearly they don't. just kidding ?? of course they do (did you really think that's my opinion?! c'mon you know me better than that linkedin) buuttt this is literally what CEO's are saying when they don't support or invest into HR they don't see the value pretty messed up if you ask me so what are we going to do about it?
